Happy Birthday Baby!!!!
So Jordan's birthday was on Wednesday but we haven't had time to celebrate. We were able to go out to eat at Olive Garden, then we made a quick trip to the grocery store just in time to go to sleep an hour later then I really needed to (I get up really early for my new job as a "handyman"). We were going to celebrate tomorrow but I got a phone call tonight that my sister got special permission to bless her new baby tomorrow and Jordan has to work so I don't think it is going to happen. So I would like to say I love you Honey and Happy Birthday!!!!!

Our little Jackson Pollock
So I'm cutting it close on my monthly blog entry but this one is fun. Some of you might have heard this story already but now you get to see it. Well, my older sister Gretta had a baby recently and my mom went to New Mexico to help her with her new baby and her other kids. While my mom was there my little sister Emily asked if she could "re-due her room" my father and I assume my mother thought this meant moving furniture, but Emily and her friend Flo had other ideas.
Here is the result of Emily and Flo going down to the Garage and taking all the left over paint they could find. And then starting to paint at 10 o'clock at night with the doors and windows closed.
The work of two high 13 yr olds.
After three days of work Emily and I were able to make it look like this instead.
Emily is one gutsy kid, I love her to death but there is no way I would have ever attempted a stunt like that when I was her age. I do not envy my parents as she enters high school.

2 Years and Counting!!!
Augest 17, 2007
Yesterday was our second anniversary. Jordan took the day off and after finishing some work at home we had a BBQ with some friends. It was a really nice day and we both really enjoyed it. The only thing missing was that this was the first summer we weren't able to make it to Portland since we got married, it makes us sad but it also motivates us to work harder so we can afford to go next year.

Playing catch up
I few random events from July
Pioneer Day
We found a Pioneer Day party at North Park. Provo has so many parks it gets a little confusing, but it was really fun to find this one.
There were some artifact recovery items on display that a scuba diving team from Utah found. Here are some of the things that survived in the ship found in the ocean by the Dominican Republic.
Here is the cannon they found, that was really cool.
Here is a tipi that had some local member's of Native American tribes there to display items and give oral histories. We missed this part because they did it earlier in the day, but the tipi was still there.
There were posters on a lot of the trees but this one was by far my favorite.
There were a lot of classic cars on display, here were some that I really liked.
Then we went to my sister Liz's house and had a fun party, but we didn't have any pictures.

July Update
4th of July
The best part of the parade was Aaron in his skirt (Kilt)
Anna, Mike and Lillie came to visit and Lillie loves the puppies. They warmed up to her after we gave her treats to feed the dogs.
On my Mom's birthday July 11th we went down to Payson to see Emily's swim meet and Aaron at the Scottish festival, but I can't find those pictures so you just have to imagine Emily doing an amazing job and being one of the fastest swimmers there and all the interesting people you would find a an event like the Scottish fest.

This has been a great June
It has rain almost every day over the past thirty days and has only gone up to the 80's a couple of times. Everything is so green and nice, it has made daily walks really nice. Here are some pictures of puppy play.

NOW That my vacation is almost over, I now need a real one.
I intended to make separate posts for all the events of April but May got in the way. Jordan and I have been working 10 hour days remolding the bathroom for my parents' college friends Lynn and Nancy Brown. I have not had a lot of time for things, but today Jordan started work at Lowe's so I can catch up on work at home before we head down to Salem to grout the bathroom. So here is the quick slide show of April.

Playing with Sarah's kids at Spencer's house, we don't have pictures of Spencer's kids because Sarah was busy taking there pictures.

I Want A Vacation!
Well it has been a very busy three weeks. Jordan came home from a three week work trip to California on April 8th then on the 9th we headed up to Spencer and Kim's so that we could go to my best friend Megan's graduation. We also picked up two new members of our family. Then on the 10th we headed back down to Salt Lake for my niece Misty's baptism. Then we spent the night there to spend Easter morning with Andrew and Tami's family. We got home just in time to teach our primary class. The next week was my very last finals week ever. And then Jordan and I spent three day's moving five peoples stuff in to one of our very small apartment (turned storage unit). Then finally Graduation.
I will be posting pictures of some of these events for the next few days (it takes me a while to down load things so I'm splitting it up sorry).

I need to know
So I guess I can safely assume that no one is planing on coming to my graduation because no one has called. Or I have to assume that you are coming and you don't want to eat anything. So if this doesn't apply to you and you would like to come and then go to the food fest afterword just say so in the comment link provided or give me a call. Thanks.

Graduation Plans
So on April 23 we are having a party after graduation at Grandma and Grandpa Miles' house at 275 N. 910 E. Lindon, Ut 84042 (use google-maps for directions). We invite everyone who can make it to come. That's a Thursday so we understand that not everyone will be able to come, just let us know soon so we can get enough food for everyone. If you have questions go ahead and give me a call. Thanks everyone we love you guys.

I Still Beat Spencer!!!
I have been stressing out about finishing my house for so long I have put Graduation on the back burner. But I can't ignore it anymore, I am graduating April 23-24. Convocation is April 23 at 3:15, and my school graduation is April 24 at 11:00 a.m. So this is my formal invite to anyone who reads this and would like to come. I don't have time or money to drive to Sarah's for pictures and I don't have the money to mail them out. But the bright side of this money drain is that I only have two rooms and my kitchen floor left until my home is livable, I am so excited.
O and my major is Psychology for those of you who might still be confused by my 10 or so majors that I had in the past.

I know, I Know......
Okay so it has been a while since my last post, but I have a very good excuse. I have been working very hard on my house and on my last semester at BYU. I now have some fruits of my labor to share with you.
THE BATHROOM
In the Beginning....
Inside- Before

Inside- After
There you are, we have been working very hard and I love my new bathroom. We also have the office close to being finished but I need to organize it and hang some pictures before I post that project.
This week we will be working on the kitchen. I know it won't be fun without a kitchen (again) but I hope it goes quickly so that I don't have to worry too much.
