Our little Jackson Pollock

So I'm cutting it close on my monthly blog entry but this one is fun. Some of you might have heard this story already but now you get to see it. Well, my older sister Gretta had a baby recently and my mom went to New Mexico to help her with her new baby and her other kids. While my mom was there my little sister Emily asked if she could "re-due her room" my father and I assume my mother thought this meant moving furniture, but Emily and her friend Flo had other ideas.

Here is the result of Emily and Flo going down to the Garage and taking all the left over paint they could find. And then starting to paint at 10 o'clock at night with the doors and windows closed.

The work of two high 13 yr olds.

After three days of work Emily and I were able to make it look like this instead.

Emily is one gutsy kid, I love her to death but there is no way I would have ever attempted a stunt like that when I was her age. I do not envy my parents as she enters high school.

I don't quit believe you wouldn't have done something like the at her age. I remember doing some pretty crazy things with you when we were younger. We probably wouldn't wait till Mom was out of town though, that is pretty gutsy.
